Do you know the feeling?

Do you know the feeling?
Or perhaps it would be more appropiate to say feelings.
The feeling that you are not longer living in your body,
your body is walking through the world in automatic,
if you saw a red light you would stop,
if you were hungry, you would eat,
if you had to pee, you would find a toilette,
but your mind, your thoughts, are too far away from your body.
Your head has deserted your body.
The body is tired, it has walked miles,
the body is done, and so, it wants to rest.
But the mind doesnt want to stop.
There is so much to think,
to rethink,
to re-evaluate.
Your mind is in the now, in the future, and in the past.
It dwells in a place that cannot be defined by time,
and it dwells in 3 different languages,
with people that have past, that are now and that will come.
And the body is tired, it wants, it needs to rest.
You have got to much to say,
and yet you are not so sure if that is what you really want to say,
or if the way you want to say it is the correct,
or you are still trying to find the words,
if you have already found the reason.
So when you finally go to sleep,
the mind continues to run while you dream.
And you wake up, and the mind is running before the alarm sounds,
it runs while you shower, while you brush your teeth, while you work,
but if you asked me I couldn´t answer what I wore that day,
or what I ate, or if it was a sunny day or a rainy day.

Do you know the feeling?

I have started taking dated pictures,
so I can remember something other than my thoughts.
Somewhere between Warnand Dreye and Huy,
2 C under the sun and wondering how it can be so beautiful and yet so cold, literally and metaphorically.
