Sugar, spice and everything nice

Sometimes all you need is for someone to come in the middle of the fog and hold your hand. Someone who tells you everything will be ok with big trusting eyes. Someone who listens and actually pays attention, who gives advice not from their own experience, but because they have listened to what you are saying.

You had my back when it looked like the entire world had better things to worry about, you saw me in the ground and held my hand and in a way I just knew: it is ok to fall, i'll hold you until you can stand up again. Never asked for more than I could give, never asked for more reasons than the ones I could express, never judged me for the things I was doing to myself.

I can ask you for help. You are one of the few.

I have cooked for a very few, I have cooked with only you. I think the reason why Belgium is so present in a nice way after meeting you is because you give light to my life, that warm and fuzzy spring light I first met in Belgium. Light coming through the fog, that's what you are. Thank you for that.
